Why Elope to South Wales?
South Wales is made for elopements. We've got everything you could dream of:
-
Dramatic Coastlines
Pembrokeshire's beaches, hidden coves, clifftop views that'll take your breath away (in the best way).
-
Historic Romance
Ancient castles, crumbling ruins, and venues steeped in centuries of stories.
-
Woodland Magic
Deep forests, secret glades, and that dappled light filtering through trees that makes everything feel like a fairy tale.
-
Mountain Views
The Brecon Beacons aren't far, if you fancy saying your vows with Wales spread out beneath you.
-
Quirky Locations
Lighthouses, piers, industrial spaces given new life—South Wales doesn't do boring.
And the best bit? Far fewer people know about these locations than popular elopement destinations, which means you get stunning scenery without the crowds.
What's Included in Your Elopement Ceremony

-

This is just us (well, you two, me, and any guests you bring). It's relaxed, meaningful, and entirely focused on celebrating your relationship.
-

Wales is stunning but unpredictable. We'll have a plan B that you'll be just as happy with.

-
Beautiful Keepsake
A presentation copy of your ceremony to treasure forever.
Types of Elopement I Offer
-
Just the Two of You
The ultimate intimate experience. You, your partner, me, and the landscape. Some couples bring a photographer to capture the moment; others prefer to just be present. Either way, it's magical.
-
A Handful of Your Favourite People
Six guests, eight guests, maybe ten—your nearest and dearest, the people you genuinely can't imagine celebrating without.
-
Adventure Elopements
Fancy a hike to your ceremony spot? Want to say vows after coasteering or before a cliff jump? I'm absolutely up for making your elopement part of a bigger adventure.
-
Escape and Celebrate
Some couples elope and then have a celebration with everyone else later. It's the best of both worlds: intimate vows for you, big party for everyone. I can help with both ceremonies if you'd like them to connect.
Perfect Elopement Locations in South Wales
-
Pembrokeshire
The coastline here is simply stunning. Dramatic cliffs, secluded beaches, the famous coastal path. If you're after wild, natural beauty, this is it.
-
Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan
Want something more accessible but still beautiful? There are gorgeous spots around Cardiff, hidden beaches along the Vale coast, and parks that offer surprising privacy.
-
Gower Peninsula
Often called one of the UK's most beautiful areas (and rightly so). Beaches, woodlands, and views that'll make you forget the rest of the world exists.
-
Monmouthshire and Wye Valley
If you're dreaming of something green and lush, this is your spot. Ancient woodlands, riverside locations, and that classic Welsh countryside feel.
-
Your Secret Spot
Already know where you want to elope? Perfect. I'll visit, make sure it works for a ceremony, and help you plan every detail.
Why Choose an Elopement?
-
It's About You Two
No compromising on your vision because of other people's expectations. No politics about who sits where or who should be invited. Just you and your love story.
-
Less Stress, More Joy
Planning a wedding for 100+ guests is intense. Planning an elopement is actually exciting and fun. Imagine that.
-
More Meaningful
When it's just a few of you (or only the two of you), every word of the ceremony lands differently. It's powerful, emotional, and deeply personal.
-
Budget-Friendly
Let's be honest: you can create something absolutely stunning for a fraction of what a traditional wedding costs. That money could be an amazing honeymoon, a house deposit, or anything else you'd rather spend it on.
-
Complete Freedom
Want to include a reading from your favourite book? Want to write vows that are funny and unconventional? Want to say "I do" in your favourite hiking boots? Go for it. This is your day, your rules.
How Elopement Planning Works
-
Step One: Let's Talk
We'll have a video call (or meet for coffee if you're local) to discuss your vision. What kind of location appeals to you? How many people do you want there? What's important to you about the ceremony?
-
Step Two: Location Scouting
I'll either suggest perfect spots based on what you've described, or visit your chosen location to make sure it works beautifully for a ceremony.
-
Step Three: Ceremony Creation
I'll gather your love story and craft a bespoke ceremony that's intimate, romantic, and perfectly you.
-
Step Four: The Details
We'll sort the practical bits: timing, backup plan for weather, how you'll get to the location, whether you want a rehearsal.
-
Step Five: Your Elopement Day
I'll meet you at your chosen spot, and we'll create a moment you'll remember forever.
What You Need to Know
-
The Legal Bit
You'll still need to do the legal signing at a registry office (it takes about twenty minutes), but your elopement ceremony is where the real magic happens.
-
Weather Backup
I'll always have a plan B that you love as much as plan A. Wales is beautiful in all weathers, but we'll be prepared.
-
Permissions
Some locations need permissions or permits. I'll guide you through this process.
-
Accessibility
If you're dreaming of a remote location but have guests with mobility needs, we'll find somewhere that works for everyone.
